Guacamole Recipe

Use tomatoes fresh from the garden in this guacamole recipe. It’s tasty as a dip with tortilla chips or in Mexican dishes!

What you need

4 avocados
1 large or 2 medium tomatoes, small diced
½ red onion, finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
2 tablespoons lime juice
½ cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
Salt and pepper (to taste)

What to do

  1. Combine tomato, red onion, garlic, and lime juice in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Let mixture sit for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, peel avocados and cut them into slices. Use a fork to mash avocados lightly.
  3. Fold tomato mixture into avocados.
  4. Chill until serving.
