No Cost Mulch in Your Backyard

by Ron V.
(South Carolina)

How many of you bag up your leaves every winter and then have them trucked away?

Leaves are the first stage of mulch. Find an out-of-the-way place behind your garage, house or shed. Store these leaves there until spring, Then you can mulch with them.

I live in the country with a woods practically at my back door. I go out in the woods each year, collect last year's leaves and pine straw, and mulch like crazy.

No cost and the supply is endless. And it's good for your soil.
