We grow Early Girl Vine Tomato in a 31" round terra cotta container. Last year it grew between 5 feet and 6 feet, giving us over 100 tomatoes. We are in south Florida.
This year we started the tomato in mid-October, and the plant is now about 3' tall, and now in early December have 9 tomatoes ready to ripen.
We support this tomato plant with the stands purchased at Lowe's.
The tomato is perfect in size for cutting to use on sandwiches. They usually grow in clumps of six, and ripen together. They have excellent taste.
