Soil amendments

by Bill van Riper
(Murrieta, Ca)

Tried dried, crushed banana peels and had a bumper crop on the test plant, Black from Tula, which now joins Black Carbon as our "must have" varieties. One side note, which was peculiar: the tomatoes on Black from Tula seemed to produce 2 distinct types. Some were about 5-6 ounces and semi-elongated. Others were 10-12 ounces and normally shaped. Weird, right?

Also added in some epsom salts which are nearly miraculous on our roses.
