I recommend sour dough bread for a tomato sandwich

I have been enjoying tomato sandwiches since I was a kid. Sourdough bread makes the best sandwich. I slather room temperature butter (real butter) on sliced sourdough. I cut the slice of sourdough in half and then and add a 1/2" slice of tomato (with skin). I eat mine open-faced. It is easy to eat this way.
